Your privacy, respected.

When you create an account, list a business, submit a mosque, post a marketplace item, or contact us, we collect:

• Account data — your name, email, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile basics. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Business listing data — business name, category, location, contact information, website, social links, photos, and description.
• Mosque submissions — mosque name, address, services, and any optional details you choose to add when submitting a mosque for verification.
• Marketplace data — item title, price, photos, category (including Items, Jobs, and Rentals), and the messages you exchange with other users about a listing.
• Contact forms — anything you write to us through our contact page or email.
• Usage analytics — anonymised view counts on business profiles so owners can see how their listing is performing. We do not share competitor analytics publicly.
• Payment data — when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we only receive a subscription status from Stripe.

• To run the directory, marketplace, and mosque-finder features you signed up for.
• To review and approve business listings and mosque submissions before they go live.
• To send transactional emails (listing approval, password reset, marketplace messages, payment receipts) through our email partner Resend.
• To process subscription payments through Stripe.
• To respond to support requests and contact-form submissions.
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and keep the platform safe for the community.

We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with trusted vendors who help us operate the platform:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database (Firestore), and image storage (Storage) for the directory and marketplace.
• Stripe — secure subscription billing for paid plans.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (approval notifications, password resets, system alerts).

Each of these vendors is contractually bound to handle your data only to provide their service to us.

Anything you publish as a public listing — your business name, category, photos, description, social links, and the mosque or marketplace items you submit — is visible to anyone using OneUmmahHub. Buyer ↔ seller chat in the marketplace is private and visible only to the two participants.

• Edit or archive your listing at any time from your My Businesses dashboard.
• Delete your account by emailing us — we will remove your account and soft-delete your listings within a reasonable timeframe, except where we must keep records for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.
• Opt out of marketing email — every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (approval, password reset, payment) cannot be turned off because they are required to operate your account.

OneUmmahHub is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, please contact us and we will remove the account.

We may update this policy as the platform grows. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of OneUmmahHub after a change means you accept the updated policy.
